BD Westby was established over thirty years ago and is now a family run business; which started from a farming background with one JCB wheeled digger. Knowledge, experience and enthusiasm has seen the business grow to more than a dozen excavators, fifty percent being specially equipped. Today, BD Westby has a solid reputation in the water related groundwork industry.

BD Westby undertake a variety of groundwork and water related services. We can apply our expertise to lots of areas, such as wetland and habitat creations, pool and lake dredging and many other specialist and general groundwork projects. We use our skilled knowledge to provide you with all of your groundwork needs. 

BD Westby have a choice of two amphibious excavators which can be provided to meet your needs best. We provide other machines designed for water based work, such as a weed boat and long reach excavators. We also have a range of excavators, dumpers, tracked dumpers, rollers, compact tractors at our disposal. Our diggers start from 0.9 tonne to 21 tonne. We also have a large range of attachments such as concrete mixer buckets, tree sheers, crusher buckets, screening buckets and many more.
